Pre-requisite: Open to Pediatric, IM-Peds, and Family Medicine Residents at the PGY2 level or above

Educational Objective
To provide the GME learner with a general rural pediatric medicine experience in a multi-physician and nurse practitioner combination primary care practice and newborn/pediatric hospital settings.
Experiences and Procedures
- Four pediatrician and one pediatric nurse practitioner outpatient practice. Pediatricians also manage newborns, pediatric consults, and newborn resuscitations.
- Participate in inpatient rounding of newborn patients.
- Experience pediatric call, including night or weekend call
- Participate in limited pediatric procedures, including newborn circumcision, outpatient wart cryotherapy, etc.
- Experience acute ill visits, Well Child Checks, and management of psychiatric disorders, including ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and Autism.
Housing
