Pre-requisite: Open to Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, IM-Pediatrics, Pediatrics or Psychiatry residents at the PGY2 level or above. Also open to Child/Adolescent Psychiatry fellow.

Educational Objective
To provide the GME learner with clinical experience with the adolescent patient population, both in primary and psychiatric care, within a school-based health center (SBHC) in a rural community setting.
Experiences and Procedures
- Clinical experience working with adolescents in a SBHC setting
- Participate in group COPE (creating opportunities for personal empowerment, a CBT based program) sessions
- Psychiatric intake, assessment, and medication management of adolescents
- Exposure to communication and collaboration with district staff (social workers, guidance, alternative education program, school nurses) and with the patients PCP, DHHS and guardians.
